This course is specifically designed for SCWI or CWI/CWE endorsement testing to develop skills to identify pertinent information provided, quickly locate the appropriate section of the Code to be used and accurately interpret Code requirements.

This course covers the Preparation for the D1.1 endorsement Exam. Clauses 1 through 11 constitute a body of rules for the regulation of welding in steel construction. There are eight normative and eleven informative annexes in this code.

This online course was developed to provide guidance through three ASME documents:  ASME Section IX, ASME B31.1 and ASME B31.3.  As we go through each book, it is important to focus on the type of information provided in each section, paragraph, table, etc.  If you are preparing to take the ASME Endorsement Test through AWS, this course is designed for you.  In that test you will be asked approximately 20 questions from each book so the course will take it one book at a time.

This 40-hour Certified Welding Supervisor course was developed to teach the material that welding supervisors must be capable of demonstrating to pass the AWS CWS Exam. This course focuses on the knowledge a supervisor needs to improve the welders' environment, productivity, throughput, weld quality and safety. Participants will learn more of the science rather than the art of welding for a better control of variables in the welding process. This program focuses on the economics of welding to enhance the profit margins of welding fabrication companies.
